Aviation museum hosts day of fun
A day of family and military fun was on offer at the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum.
Entertainment at the event in Flixton was provided by Andy Garner and his swing dancing and there were a number of fairground games with prizes up for grabs.
The most popular part of the day was the Second World War Link Trainer which simulates flying and the Military Amateur Radio Society were there to allow people to try out the radios.
“It was a really good day,” said museum director Pam Veale. “It was heaving and people were laughing and enjoying it.
“The flight simulator was exceptionally busy and that is always popular. Youngsters got given a wings sticker which said they were a future pilot and they loved it. It was a lovely day.”
People were also able to dress up in old military uniforms and the Mazda Mx-5 Owners Club also turned up in force.
