The UK Festival Awards, set up in 2004 by Virtual Festivals.com, is an annual celebration of the best of the UK festival scene.
Beccles Carnival is amongst a number of prestigious festivals in this year's awards nominated for Best Small Event, Best Line Up, Best Toilets, and Best Family Festival.
Annette Tackley, who helps organise the carnival, is imploring the town to get their votes in before this Monday when voting ends. She said: “Anything that puts Beccles on the map is great! I was quite shocked when I found out because I didn't know we'd been nominated, but it's nice to be nominated for something.”
