The Beccles-based girls chamber choir, Auriga Capella, will be performing in St Michael’s Church in Beccles on Sunday, June 26, to raise money for the church’s south porch appeal.
In addition to choral items, solos and duets will be performed by Bonnie Quinlan, Isabella Pitman, Daisy Tyrrell-Kent and Alice Cushing, at the concert from 4pm.
Bonnie Quinlan will sing ‘Green Finch and Linnet Bird’ by Sondheim and the Mozart aria ‘In uomini, in soldati’, while soprano Isabella Pitman will be singing music by Puccini and duets by Mozart. Daisy Tyrrell-Kent will be singing ‘Feed the birds’ from Mary Poppins and ‘Duetto buffo di due Gatti’ by Rossini.
Admission is free, with a retiring collection for the appeal, which is being backed by the Journal’s Pounds for the Porch.
