Beccles woman arrested for heroin possession

A 35-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin with intent to supply after police stopped a vehicle in Market Street, in Beccles, today, Friday, November, 6.

A 35-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin with intent to supply after police stopped a vehicle in Market Street, in Beccles, today, Friday, November, 6.

Officers stopped the car at around 9.50am. A quantity of heroin, believed to be worth around �400, was recovered and the woman, from Beccles, was arrested.

She was interviewed by officers and has now been bailed to return to Lowestoft police station on January 30.
