Bin fire on Bungay industrial estate being treated as arson

An incident where a bin was set alight on a Bungay industrial estate is being treated as arson.

The industrial-sized bin was severely damaged when it was set on fire next to a unit on the Southend Road Industrial Estate.

It is believed a resident intervened and pushed the bin away from the building, which was not damaged.

It happened on June 14 between 10.15 and 10.40pm and police now believe the fire was started deliberately.

Anyone with any information should call Suffolk Police on 101, quoting crime reference number 37/38784/16.
