BUSINESSES in Bungay and district are being invited to a brainstorming session which will help to shape the town's future.The Bungay Community Partnership, which through a series of working parties is spearheading to move to draw up a planning framework for the town, is hosting the meeting at the Chaucer Club on Wednesday, January 27, and is hoping as many businesses as possible will attend the Boost Bungay Business Brainstorm.

BUSINESSES in Bungay and district are being invited to a brainstorming session which will help to shape the town's future.

The Bungay Community Partnership, which through a series of working parties is spearheading to move to draw up a planning framework for the town, is hosting the meeting at the Chaucer Club on Wednesday, January 27, and is hoping as many businesses as possible will attend the Boost Bungay Business Brainstorm.

The aim of the meeting is to get views on how to take Bungay forward in promoting trade, tourism, shopping, the use of Bungay's services, leisure facilities and how to encourage more businesses to invest in the town.

All the views gathered will help form the business section of the town plan and used to help apply for funding in the future.

The brainstorm session, at 6.30pm, will be an informal event and also provide the chance for socialising and networking.

The evening will include a Business Link talk, and refreshments, as well as a free draw for which the prize is a full page advert in the Bungay Directory worth nearly �100.

Organisations offering information and advice at the event will include Norfolk and Waveney Enterprise Services, the Federation of Small Businesses, Business Link, Bungay Chamber of Trade, and Sanderlings internet.
