Dozens of budding young artists have been showing off their talents this Easter.

The children were proud to show off their work in a colouring competition organised by Sharel@Step, a community-based project with tea room and drop-in centre in Northgate in Beccles.

Local artist Tony Mason was delighted to view the children’s work this week and later presented Easter egg prizes to the worthy winners.

Theresa Cumbers, director of programmes for Step, sent her thanks to Katie Alexander and Rebecca Woolnough for their efforts in organising the event.

She added: “We would also like to thank all the children from St Benet’s Primary School and Worlingham Primary Schools for their excellent colouring entries.”

Children aged four to seven and eight to 11 were invited to enter the competition.

After a tough judging session, the winners were announced as Eva Worrall, Benjamin Self, Freya Andrews, Elsie-Mai Effeny, Katie Ray, Abi Bodmer and Noah Grant.
