Pupils from eight schools came together to take part in Bungay High’s Easter Maths challenge.
The pupils were tasked with solving an array of Easter tangrams - which were then used to create Easter cards and pictures.
Petrana Sprake, Bungay High’s Mathematics transition coordinator, said: “They travelled on a virtual tour of Norfolk participating in a grand Easter egg hunt, this tested problem solving skills which they needed in order to collect the most eggs within mileage limits and other given constraints.
“The Year 6 students worked in teams made up from different schools and this enabled them to develop good communication skills and make new friends.”
In first place Bronte Naylor, Hannah Payne and Abigail Kent with an amazing 81 eggs, Benjamin Cossar and Archie Shipley took second, while Nancy Ward-Burgess finished Olivia Venturoli.
Ms Sprake added: “This was our most successful Maths Challenge so far and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.”
