Burglary at Bungay shop and attempted burglary at charity shop

SOMEONE tried to break into a charity shop in St Marys Street, Bungay, last Wednesday night.

Nothing was stolen but damage was caused to a back door at the property between 5.10pm on Wednesday, January 18 and 8.30am on the Thursday.

Police are also investigating a burglary at a nearby shop which is believed to have happened between 8–8.45pm on Wednesday.

They are asking anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area around this time to come forward. Call PC 1475 Plummer on 101.
