Car collides with home in Bungay

A CAR caused damage to a wall when it collided with a home in Bungay at the weekend.

Police are appealing for information after the fail-to-stop road traffic collision in Staithe Road, which took place between 7pm and 7.

A CAR caused damage to a wall when it collided with a home in Bungay at the weekend.

Police are appealing for information after the fail-to-stop road traffic collision in Staithe Road, which took place between 7pm and 7.25pm on Saturday January 2.

The unknown car - described as a dark saloon-type vehicle of around Ford Escort-Ford Mondeo size that was possibly maroon in colour - collided with the wall of the home causing damage - cracks to the wall - both externally and internally.

The incident left the occupant of the property very shaken.

Work is underway to trace the vehicle but police are asking the driver, any passengers or anyone who may have seen a vehicle with damage to the front to get in touch with officers.
