A woman has been left with a potential head injury after a car rolled down a slope and struck her.

Police were called shortly before 8pm yesterday (July 19) evening, following reports of a collision on Norwich Road in Halesworth.

Three fire crews were also called to the scene, where firefighters released a woman who was trapped under the rear of a car.

The injured woman was taken to James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston, where she is currently receiving treatment. Police confirmed that the woman’s injuries were not life-changing or life-threatening.

A spokesman for Suffolk Constabulary said: “We are on the scene and investigating.”
