Carnival calls for parade entries
ENTRIES are being sought for this year's Beccles Carnival parade on Sunday, August 30. The parade will leave from the back of Rainbow car park and move onto Gosford Road, then left onto Station Road, Newgate, Blyburgate, Peddars Lane, St Mary's Road, Ballygate, New Market, The Walk, Old Market, Northgate, and then on to the Quayside.

Yvette Tackley, one of the organisers of this year's event, said: “The parade itself is a good way to promote your business, club, pub or society in a positive way and give you free advertising opportunities.”
There are also a few spaces left for stalls on the Quayside for the weekend.
The organisers are also asking the winner's of last year's parade to return their trophies to East Coast Services in Ravensmere, Beccles, by Friday July 31.
