A new exhibition celebrating the beauty of the Waveney Valley and the south of France is coming to Bungay.
Cate Aspinall, best known for her seascapes of the Norfolk coast, will host her latest exhibition at The Fisher theatre, in Broad Street, from February 4 to March 2.
Ms Aspinall splits her time between Correze, France and the Waveney Valley and draws inspiration from both locations.
The exhibition, which is predominantly pastel landscapes, depicts rural scenes, woodland glades, hidden byways and secret paths.
Ms Aspinall is hoping to grow her profile in France over the next year.
She said: “In particular, I want to develop a series of exhibitions with other English artists within the rural communities which wake from winter hibernation in the spring.
A special preview event on Sunday, February 4, 6.30pm to 8.30pm, marks the opening of the exhibition.
