Celebrated poet from Bungay back with show

A NORTH Suffolk poet is returning home after a year of touring top festivals to perform his hit show.

Luke Wright, from Bungay, has taken his Cynical Ballads show to literary festivals in Edinburgh, Australia and China.

The 29-year-old, who founded the poetry collective Aisle16 while studying at UEA, will be appearing at the Quay Theatre, Sudbury, at 7.30pm next Saturday, November 26.

His show has been described as “a cutting slice through modern Britain”.
