Heveningham Hall Concours d’Elegance returned this weekend for the third year in a row, displaying 54 cars on grass terraces to the rear of the grade I listed mansion.

Vehicles varied from the young - a stunning Aston Martin 6C Vulcan - to the old, an 1886 Benz Patent Motorwagen, while the 70th anniversary of Porsche was recognised with a number of spectacular entrants from the German company.

Meanwhile, on the lawn in front of the concours’ entrants, a separate McLaren Formula One exhibition showcased historic cars driven by the likes of Mika Hakkinen, David Coulthard, Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton and the late Ayrton Senna.

There was also a new event named ‘Horsepower Hill’, providing an opportunity for concours’ owners to burn rubber in their cars in a timed burnout.
