A woman who stole a bag from outside a charity shop in Beccles is being dealt with by way of a community resolution.
The bag was taken from outside The Children’s Society charity shop in Exchange Square between 4pm on Monday and 8.30am on Tuesday.
The woman, aged in her 40s, contacted the police herself and admitted taking it.
Police have spoken to the shop, and both parties have agreed to resolve the matter via the items being returned to the police and a donation being made to charity.
