AN event to raise the profile of rural tourism and locally-produced food and drink is being held in Bungay next month.
The theme for the rural conference, which will feature Waveney MP Bob Blizzard as guest speaker is 'The importance of local produce and rural tourism”.
Delegates will be invited to sample a selection of local food and drink at the event, which takes place on November 3 between 10.30am and 4pm at The Fisher Theatre in Bungay.
Organised by Waveney's Rural Community Partnership, the conference is targeted at attracting businesses, councils, voluntary organisations and social enterprises that operate in rural Waveney.
