SOUTH Norfolk Council's website has been rated the best in the east and among the top 20 in England. The news came in the Society of IT Managers (Socitm) annual report called Better Connected 2009, which compared all council websites and websites of other government organisations. The society tests how well a website handles common inquiries and situations from the public. The results are based on what they found in November and December last year and are set out in a 188 page report.
