THE grounds of the Beccles War Memorial Hospital were filled with fun on Saturday afternoon as a large crowd enjoyed maypole dancers and jazz music at the annual hospital fete.
The fund raising fete was organised by the Rotary Club and this year's highly successful event saw a jazz band from Sir John Leman High School perform and the June Glennie Dancers strut their stuff as they maypole danced.
And gangs of children were amazed as a wacky 'professor' demonstrated his latest invention - a rocket.
Hundreds of people also enjoyed the opportunity to stroll around the fete's stalls. In the last year the Rotary Club has distributed £13,500 to good causes, including the hospital.
