Cyclists lining up to enter annual Beccles charity bike ride

Preparations are in place for a popular annual charity bike ride.
Now in its 16th year, Beccles Cycle for Life charity ride, organised by the Rotary Club of Beccles, will be held on Sunday May 14, and the event is already receiving applications for those wishing to enter.
The ride is aiming to raise funds for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and the Rotary Club’s charitable trust in equal shares.
It will be suitable for people of all ages and abilities with five possible distances of 7, 15, 25, 40 and 50 miles.
There are prizes to be won by riders who raise sponsorship and the eligibility conditions are on the website.

Already early in the campaign, nearly 40 riders have entered and it may build up to about 450.
