Fresh from reaching an impressive fundraising milestone, a charity baker is set to return with a selection of delicious treats.
David Brown, from Burgh St Peter, will be back in his usual spot in Beccles on Saturday, July 13, raising money for Help for Heroes as he has done since 2009.
His latest sale, in Exchange Square, will take place just a few weeks after his total for the year hit £10,000.
That figure has since been boosted to more than £14,500 following his annual Armed Forces Day celebration and a generous donation from a friend and fellow fundraiser based in Canada.
Overall, Mr Brown hopes to raise £100,000 for the charity, which helps service personnel suffering with both physical and mental disabilities.
"Getting this extra donation means we are just £8,000 away from hitting that target," said Mr Brown. "I am on such a high after all the recent fundraising and £100,000 really does seem within our grasp now."
