A man was taken to hospital following a head-on collision between a lorry and a car on a road in Ditchingham this morning.The 47-year-old was injured in the incident that happened on the B1332 road between Bungay and Norwich at shortly before 6am.
A man was taken to hospital following a head-on collision between a lorry and a car on a road in Ditchingham this morning.
The 47-year-old was injured in the incident that happened on the B1332 road between Bungay and Norwich at shortly before 6am.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said the man was conscious and breathing but had head and chest pains and was taken to the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.
A Norfolk police spokesman said the incident involved a white heavy goods vehicle and a Fiat Punto and that the road was still completely blocked at 9am as recovery of the vehicle from the scene continued.
