Norfolk-based Wetnose Animal Aid is continuing its work helping small and less well-known rescue centres.

Founder Andrea Gamby-Boulger, who runs the animal welfare organisation from her home in Kirby Cane, has been to visit Fritton Owl Sanctuary in Fritton, which currently cares for 37 owls with 13 in foster homes.

Wetnose has been helping with the sanctuary’s feed bills, and Mrs Gamby-Boulger said they will continue to help with food and vets bills.

She said: “We are also helping two horse rescue centres which are desperate for hay in this cold weather and we have one bill for over £1,050, so please help with any donations.”

Donations can be made by PayPal of the Wetnose website at www.wetnoseanimalaid.com or by cheque to Wetnose Animal Aid Ltd, Newgate Lodge, Newgate, Kirby Cane, Norfolk, NR35 2PP.

Items to sell at the Wetnose Animal Aid shop in Hungate, Beccles, would also be appreciated.
