Beccles Rotary Club hosted a party of 10 people visiting from the Rotary Club of Naarden-Bussum in Holland, continuing an exchange between the two clubs that has continued for many years.

The Dutch visitors stayed with Beccles Rotarians as they do every other year, as the return visit to Holland happens in between such visits.
The programme of events included enjoyable guided tours at Adnams brewery and distillery and also Southwold lighthouse.
Various meals and celebrations together included an evening meal at the Flixton Buck and a lunch at the Beccles president Paul Randle’s house, as the visiting Rotarians re-presented a travelling tankard to him and everyone posed for a photo to record the visit.
Peter Hustinx of the Dutch club stood in for their president, who couldn’t make this trip. He and the Beccles president spoke of the huge value to both clubs of the continuing exchange.
