A charity dedicated to offering a route out of homelessness is inviting children along to its base for an Easter egg hunt.

Emmaus Norfolk and Waveney is set to host the event in partnership with All Hallows Healthcare Trust from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, March 31.

Parents are encouraged to take their children to the Emmaus’ community site on Belsey Bridge, in Ditchingham, to hunt for Easter treats hidden throughout the charity’s grounds and orchard.

Children’s games and activities will be available throughout the day and there are numerous tombola prizes to be won.

Situated in the former convent buildings of the Community of All Hallows, Emmaus offers a route out of homelessness within a supportive environment. Its community caters for up to 23 former homeless people, who work full-time up-cycling and selling second-hand household items at the charity’s shops in Ditchingham and Bungay.
