Six fire crews were called to a large fire in the open in Broome, near Bungay.
Appliances from Loddon, Harleston, Carrow, Beccles, Lowestoft and Gorleston, along with the water carrier from Hethersett attended the crop fire in Rectory Road at around 1.15pm.
Crews used a compressed air foam system and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
The incident was under control just after 2.30pm and crews are now leaving the scene.
