Firefighters from Beccles quickly dealt with a car blaze at Ashby, near Somerleyton.
The Beccles crew – who were the nearest appliance to the fire as they were already out on the roads with it being their drill night – were called to the blaze at Blocka Road, Ashby at 7.27pm last night (Tuesday).
They quickly had the blaze under control, and the scene was cleared by 8.30pm.
A brigade spokesman said: 'The cause of the fire is unknown.'
