Worlingham Church Flower Festival has celebrated another successful weekend.
The annual event, which was held over Saturday, Sunday and Monday, attracted visitors with floral displays representing events from years ending with a five.
This included the Battles of Waterloo (1815), and Trafalgar (1805) and the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.
“It went really well,” said Karen Warner, one of the event’s organisers. “There was a good turn out even though we had all the rain on Monday. It was wonderful and we had some really lovely comments in the visitor’s book.”
The displays were arranged by members of flower clubs in the area and local residents, with proceeds raised from the event helping to cover insurance costs at Worlingham Church.
