Floral tributes, photos and messages of love have been laid in memory of a young driver killed in a car crash.
Daniel Blowers, aged in his 20s, died after a two-car crash on Beccles Road in Aldeby on Saturday morning.
The incident involved a white Fiat 500 and a black Mitsubishi L200, which were travelling in opposite directions, and despite the best efforts of police and paramedics, Mr Blowers, who was driving the Fiat, died at the scene.
Last night, family and friends gathered at the scene to lay flowers in his memory.
Mr Blowers’ brother, Ben Witton, said they were “overwhelmed” with the turnout.
He said: “All of his family and friends love him so much. No words can describe his loss. We will cry everyday for him.”
Members of the community have also expressed their sadness upon hearing about the tragedy in the village.
Tim Wright, chairman of Aldeby Parish Council, said: “It’s awful – it is so sad for a young man to lose his life.
“It is so sad to hear someone has been killed on our roads and always awful when someone is killed in such tragic circumstances.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time and we offer our deepest sympathies.
“But words do seem inadequate at a time like this.”
Police closed Beccles Road while emergency services dealt with the incident at around 7.45am and carried out initial investigations.
Fire crews from Beccles, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft South also attended the scene to assist the police and ambulance.
The road was reopened at 1.30pm.
Officers are keen to hear from people who may have witnessed the incident, or has information about the driving manner of the vehicles.
Anyone with information should contact the serious collision investigation team at Wymondham on 101.
