Generous gift boosts local workshop

THE Waveney Enterprises workshop has been boosted by a £500 gift from the Lowestoft Lodge of Mark Master Masons.

The money will support the valuable work the workshop does for disabled adults in the Beccles area at its base in Smallgate, Beccles.

THE Waveney Enterprises workshop has been boosted by a £500 gift from the Lowestoft Lodge of Mark Master Masons.

The money will support the valuable work the workshop does for disabled adults in the Beccles area at its base in Smallgate, Beccles. Adults with special needs and learning difficulties are given day care and the opportunity to learn craft and social learning skills.

The donation came after the Lodge put a request in to the East Anglian Mark Benevolent Association, which evaluates all requests and makes charity allocations on merit, and it was delighted its bid was successful.
