The annual Godric Way Cycle Ride will be returning this weekend.
Starting at the Butter Cross in Bungay at 10am on Sunday, July 15, the route encircles Bungay allowing for riders to complete all or part of the route, with a total distance of 25 miles.
The ride is a town council initiative, designed and organised by the Godric Cycling Club, and all ages and abilities are welcome.
There will be an organised refreshment stop at The Farmer’s Kitchen in Homersfield, with the added option of a stop at Earsham Hall tea rooms for anyone needing a break before then.
In order to take part you must have a road worthy bicycle, a spare inner tube and pump. Participants are also advised to carry water and a snack.
Although crash helmets are not compulsory, the organisers recommend wearing one for group riding.
