A charity shop in Bungay will be holding a special volunteers day next week.
East Coast Hospice is inviting local residents to visit the shop in St Mary’s Street on Friday, April 21, to find out more about the volunteering opportunities available and the charity’s ‘Raise the Roof’ fundaising project.
East Coast Hospice now has 10 thriving shops, generously supported by the local community, who donate items, clothing and furniture to be sold, raising vital funds to build Margaret Chadd House, an independent hospice for residents of the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area.
Volunteers are required to help at all their charity shops, warehouse and also at charity events. Any amount of time you are able to spare would be greatly appreciated.
The event will run from 9am to 3pm, and the team will be on hand to provide more information.
