Two new faces will be joining Halesworth Town Council following last night’s by-election.
Karen Prime and Tony Allen will replace the previous councillors who no longer live or work in the Halesworth area.
On the night Ms Prime gained the highest number of votes with a total of 635.
Mr Allen received 384 while former local government officer Jill Reece finished third with 300 votes cast in her favour.
Jacqueline Wagner, who previously served on the town council for 22 years received 213 votes.
In total 1, 532 votes were cast – an electoral turnout of just under 22pc.
