THREE ladies handbags were stolen from the Ja Wedding Design shop in Market Place, Bungay, on Saturday.

The bags had been left unattended on a sofa at the front of the shop, at around 12.30pm, while the owners were elsewhere in the store.

All three of the bags – one a black leather handbag with a silver clasp on the front, one brown leather with a brown bear hanging off it and one a beige Kipling bag – contained personal items including cash, cards and mobile phones.

Anyone with any information is asked to call PC 1695 Pritchard on 101.
