Hospital Friends group raises over £1,000 at auction of promises

Over £1,000 was raised at an auction of promises and collectables, organised by the Friends of All Hallows Hospital in Ditchingham.

The lots included a flight for three, afternoon tea at the Assembly House,​​ a two night break in Wells, a gold necklace, promises of fresh flowers for four weeks, two hours gardening and a model steam engine.

Former auctioneer Miles Lamdin conducted the auction of 58 lots.

Friends chairman Pat Blakeburn,thanked everyone who attended and donated for the auction, and said the group was extremely grateful to Mr Lamdin for his valuable help and advice.

The Friends will be holding their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, May 23, at All Hallows Hospital at 6pm for 6.30pm start. And their next fundraising event will be a Garden Party at All Hallows on June 10, from 11am. For more information call Pat Blakeburn on 01986 892493.
