Following their successful debut performing in Bungay last month, Lowestoft-based jazz band Midnite Voyage have now been booked for three more gigs there on Friday evenings.

The band last played at The Fleece Inn, St Mary’s Street, on May 26.

The next appearance is next Friday, June 30, at 8pm, when drinkers and diners can enjoy another rich mix from the band’s repertoire, ranging from the Beatles to Jimmy Smith, from Sade to Billie Holiday, and from funk to swing and the American song-book.

With its extensive renovated bar and restaurant, and courtyard garden, The Fleece has become a great new attraction for the town, and music on a summer’s night will certainly enhance its appeal.

Managed by Mick Brown, who plays keyboard, Midnite Voyage features vocalist Stacy Collins, and a funky mix of bass, saxophone and drums.
