The two-man juggernaut that is Slaves roared into Latitude Friday evening.

Ferocious, raw and snarling Laurie Vincent and Isaac Holman took to the BBC 6 Music Stage turning the crowd before them into a turbulent sea of limbs, flailing hair and sweat.

The hard-hitting duo from Kent armed only with a drum kit and guitar provided a raucous set full of punk-rock riffs and thumping rhythms.

Many a pint was lost during anthems such as Where's Your Car Debbie? and The Hunter, whose meandering rhythms and hooks proved to be crowd favourites demonstrating why 2015 was such a breakthrough year for the band.

One lucky fan, Harvey, joined Slaves onstage after his body-popping antics caught the eye of Laurie who beckoned him to join the band,

Harvey proceeded to dance around the band in a robotic fashion in a moment which is sure to live long in his memory.

Brutal, catchy, deafening; Slaves are a mix between Black Flag and At The Drive-In adding their own unique touch of Englishness to the recipe.

Returning to Latitude this year after playing the Lake Stage in 2014, with performances like this there are no reasons so suggest why the band cannot continue their meteoric rise to bigger stages, larger audiences and to wider acclaim.
