For one night only, the Beccles sea cadets building will be the stage of an internationally renowned comedian.
The sea cadets are hosting a charity stand up comedy night to raise money for their sailing school on Sunday, September 1.
Tanyalee Davis, an American-Canadian comic who has been featured on Live at the Apollo will be headlining the night.
Beccles Sea Cadets are an entirely volunteer run organisation, who rely on fundraising.
They will also be holding a raffle.
Their boat school teaches sailing to children, but currently they have no showers and the current changing and classroom facilities are run down.
A spokesperson for the cadets said: "All proceeds raised will be going to change that and to offer kids the printing to achieve nationally recognised qualifications.
"The dream is to make the facility accessible to all sea cadets in East Anglia and run free courses."
Tanyalee Davis lives in Norfolk, and is volunteering her time to help the cause.
