Local band sign deal

BECCLES-based post-hardcore rockers Depth have signed an album deal with up and coming label Rising Records.

Rising Records are fast becoming one of the biggest independent metal labels in the UK, and the album will be produced by Mark Daghorn, who has worked with One Minute's Silence and Trigger the Bloodshed, and mixed by Chris Sheldon, who has worked with The Foo Fighters and Biffy Clyro.

The album is being recorded in July next year and will be available in HMV and Play.com, amongst other distributers.

Between now and then the band will be touring the country, with a big local gig on Saturday July 19 at the Norwich Arts Centre, with Lowestoft band Six Degrees of Separation.
