Loddon residents: lock your vehicles
RESIDENTS in Loddon are being reminded to keep their vehicles locked and secure after three vehicles were broken into overnight. Items including IPod's, CD's, cash and Sat Navs were taken from the cars, which were all parked on Elm Close, Loddon.
RESIDENTS in Loddon are being reminded to keep their vehicles locked and secure after three vehicles were broken into overnight.

Inspector James Brown, responsible for the Loddon Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “I would like to remind residents in this area to secure their vehicles, even if only leaving them for a short time, and to remove all valuables when the vehicle is left unattended.
“Opportunist thieves will target insecure vehicles, so by keeping you vehicle secure you can prevent yourself from becoming a victim.”

Remove stereos and expensive audio equipment.
Remove Sat Nav equipment and cradle - ensure you wipe any marks off the windscreen
Remove purses, handbags, sunglasses, laptops and any other valuables entirely from the vehicle.
