Neighbours in one Lowestoft street are celebrating after sharing a £90,000 lottery win.

The three lucky St Margaret's Road residents each won £30,000 from the People's Postcode Lottery Street Prize fund. One of the winners, Coral Smith, 55, was still in shock at her good fortune.

She said: 'I've been unwell and off work for a while so the first thing I'm going to do is treat my friends and family who've been so kind to me over this time.

'I'm also going to treat myself to a holiday – I love travelling and often go away by myself which I really like doing, but I have some friends who are heading off to Morocco so I might join them on that trip.'

Frances Marks, 58, is also planning on going away with her winnings.

'I'm definitely going to go on a really, really nice holiday,' she said. 'I'm thinking of America and taking a friend with me.'

The third winner was not home to be presented with their cheque.

Matt Johnson, People's Postcode Lottery ambassador, said: 'I hope they enjoy their winnings – it sounds like they both have some really exciting plans.'

A minimum of 30% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People's Postcode Lottery have raised more than £182 million to date for good causes across Great Britain and internationally.

Among the beneficiaries is Lowestoft Ladies Hockey Club, which was awarded £564 last year to work with schools in the area to encourage young people into the sport.
