Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving following crash

A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after police and fire services were called to a crash in Blyford.

Suffolk Police said they were called at 12.15am to reports of a single vehicle crash on the B1123 in the early hours of this morning.

A man has been arrested and remains in police custody.

A spokesman for the fire service said: “A crew from Halesworth attended the scene to aid the police in vehicle and scene safety.
“Three crews were mobilised from Halesworth, Southwold, and Lowestoft South, but two were stood down before arrival.”
