Man arrested over Beccles car thefts
A 23-YEAR-old man has been arrested today after several thefts from cars in Beccles overnight.Officers were called at 2.50am this morning to Mulberry Close where three males were seen ripping the stereo out of a vehicle parked there.

Officers were called at 2.50am this morning to Mulberry Close where three males were seen ripping the stereo out of a vehicle parked there.
A second call was made minutes later to report a theft from a red Volkswagen parked in Goose Green East. Audio equipment was again stolen.
After a search of the area, officers found items believed to have been taken from the VW.

A blue Vauxhall Astra parked at Gosford Heights was also broken into between 5pm yesterday and 8am this morning. The car stereo and a mobile phone were stolen.
The man, from Great Yarmouth is currently in custody at Lowestoft police station where he will be interviewed in connection with the crimes.
