Man charged after cash is stolen from Beccles home

A 34-year-old man has been charged with the burglary of a home in Beccles.

Matthew Lockwood, of Horsley Drive in Gorleston, was arrested on January 20 in connection with a burglary at a home in Hillcrest Road on December 5, where over £900 in cash was stolen.

He was interviewed about the incident and has now been charged with burglary and bailed to appear at Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court from 9.30am on Monday, February 6.
