A MAN who had not been seen by his neighbours for six weeks was found dead after police forced entry to his home, an inquest was told.
Brian Maxwell, 72, was found in the hallway of his house in Highfield Road, Halesworth, on May 6, the hearing at Lowestoft Magistrates' Court was told.
Greater Suffolk deputy coroner Yvonne Blake said Mr Maxwell had a degenerating disease of the nervous system, but that a post-mortem examination could not reveal the cause of death because of the length of time it took to discover his body. She recorded an open verdict.
