POLICE need to trace a man after two teenage girls reported him acting suspiciously towards them.

The incident happened around 5.15pm on Tuesday, February 16, when the 14 and 15-year-old girls were on a bus from Beccles heading towards Lowestoft.

The man got on the double decker bus in London Road South in Lowestoft where he sat in front of them on the top deck and then turned round to stare at them. This made the girls uncomfortable and they moved down stairs. The man followed them.

They all got off the bus in the town centre and the man appeared to follow them for a short distance.

Several days later, on February 20, the girls were in Norwich when they spotted the same man at the main bus station in Surrey Street around 5pm. The girls got on the bus and went upstairs and the man got on and sat behind them, again staring at them. The girls got off the bus a short time later.

Police need to trace the man and are asking him, or anyone who knows who he is to come forward.

He is described as white, possibly in his 40s, of average build, with ginger hair in a ponytail and wearing round glasses and a dark grey flat cap
