Fire service called after motorbike is found on fire

Firefighters were pressed into action when a member of the public found a motorbike on fire in Beccles.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were called at 3.25pm yesterday after an individual spotted the bike alight on Rigbourne Hill Lane in Beccles.

One crew was mobilised from Beccles fire station and, upon arrival at the scene, firefighters extinguished the fire and the scene was made safe by 4.11pm.

No one was injured during the incident.

An investigation into the cause of the fire will be carried out in due course.
