POLICE Community Support Officer (PCSO) Malcolm Brabbin from Beccles Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) is asking business owners for their contact details including email addresses to use in a distribution database.
The database will be used to send event and crime information to businesses to help reduce further incidents from occurring. The emails will include information such as descriptions of suspicious persons or crime event details.
PCSO Brabbin from Beccles SNT said: “Whilst Shop Watch already exists, we are hoping that this database will update business owners on the latest event details so that they are aware and can help to stop further events from happening. Once up and running, we will regularly send out emails to shop owners. Our aim is to give owners the information to protect themselves and their shops through community cohesion.”
If you would like to join the scheme then please either email PCSO Brabbin on Malcolm.brabbin@suffolk.pnn.police.uk or (01473) 613500.
