Pastor bears a burden on walk

A PASTOR has taken on a religious heavy burden as he started walking from Norfolk to Wales carrying a 10ft cross.Mike Vickers, from Loddon, will spend the next month walking 450 miles for his For Honour 2009 National Walk of Witness to promote the gospel.

A PASTOR has taken on a religious heavy burden as he started walking from Norfolk to Wales carrying a 10ft cross.

Mike Vickers, from Loddon, will spend the next month walking 450 miles for his For Honour 2009 National Walk of Witness to promote the gospel.

Mr Vickers and a team of supporters set off from Loddon on Monday and reached Norwich yesterday. The group will then carry the cross to Dereham and then King's Lynn.

The group, who are based at All Nations Revival Church, will finish their journey in Easter at St David's in Wales.
