It is a magical Christmas experience when parents, grandparents and carers get a chance to see young children create their nativity play.

All over the county school Christmas plays have become a tradition and if it is not a nativity play telling the story of the birth of Jesus it is a modern play with spacemen, pirates and other popular characters.

While all school plays are special to all those involved there is still something magical about the nativity story that creates a lump in the throats of an adult audience.

The Beccles and Bungay Journal photographers have been out and about in the area and have captured some wonderful scenes from nativity plays at Worlingham Pre-school and the Foundation Class at Bungay Primary School, who held their performances over the last two weeks.

Has your child’s school held a Christmas play? Send your photographs and the name of the production to david.lennard@archant.co.uk for a chance to see them in next week’s paper.
